Learn Art techniques to express yourself and have fun

Art it offers Art classes to children from age 5 through to their teens, adults and senior citizens wanting to get in touch with their inner child and find their creativity. We encourage limitless freedom of expression.

We offer exciting arts and crafts, oil and acrylic painting, perspective drawing techniques, life drawing and multi-media art with the use of palette knives, pencils, charcoal, crayons, paint brushes, paint and even your own fingers!

Children’s Studio Art Classes

In the Saturday Fun Art class, the children make something different every week from modelling, drawing, painting to decoupage and much more.When: Saturday 3 pm – 5 pm on a term basis of 12 classes starting the 20th September and ends December 13th. You can join at any stage.

Suitability: Age 6 – 12

Price: €240.00 per term. Materials supplied

In Saturday’s acrylic painting class, we teach children to express themselves using different techniques & mediums, while pursuing an image, whether it be a portrait, flowers or an inspirational piece, with the intent on finishing a painting every 2/3 classes.When: Saturday 11.30 am-1.00 pm on a term basis of 6 classes starting the 20th of September and ending the 25th October.

Suitability: Age 9 – 13

Price: €120.00 per 6 classes. Materials supplied

The Saturday Young Art class is to give young children their first art experience of drawing, painting, clay, cut & stick and much more.When: Saturday 10.30 am -11.30 am on a term basis of 6 classes. Starting the 20th September to 25th October.

Suitability: Age 4 – 7

Price: €100.00 euro per 6 classes. Materials Supplied.

Thursday’s fun drawing class, learn to draw all manner of things from face features to whacky inventive animals, using different types of pencils and pastels!

When: Thursday 3 pm – 4 pm on a term basis of 6 classes. Starting the 18th September and ends the 23rd October.

Suitability: Age 8-13

Price: €100.00 per 6 classes. Materials Supplied.

On a Friday, try your hand at painting a canvas with oil paints, become creative in colour inventing, discover different textures, and before transferring your own drawing to a canvas, learn perspective drawing. When: Friday 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm on a term basis of 12 classes starting the 19th of September and ends the 13th of December.

Suitability: Age 9-18

Price: €300.00 for 12 classes. Materials are not included.

Adult Studio Art Classes

Beginners – An introduction to 5 different mediums over 5 weeks. Pencil, charcoal, compressed charcoal, pastels and crayons, inks, watercolour, acrylics and oil paints. When: starting Wednesday 5th November to 3rd December 7 pm – 8.30 pm.

Price: 100.00 euro for 5 classes running each Wednesday.

Materials included.

Post Introductory – Discover if oil paints and drawing is for you! Over 8 weeks, learn to draw a still-life in perspective and to paint in oils your drawing on canvas. Learn to shade in colour. Starting Thursday 23rd October thru to December 11th, 7 pm – 8.30 pm.

Price: 80.00 euro for each block 4 classes running each Thursday
